Situation:

First Baptist Church, seeking to renovate their audio-visual system, had an outdated and insufficient audio mixing console, an inadequate choir microphone system, and an inept stage monitor solution. Additionally, their video display system needed to be relocated and remounted, and a stage-facing projection system needed to be added.

Strategy:

Avashare recommended a two-phased approach for the audio system: upgrade the audio mixing console in tandem with the audio distribution points to create a fully digital audio distribution. Next, upgrade the choir audio by incorporating a more capable microphone, replacing the stage monitors with Turbosound's professional-grade speaker solutions and providing a new Yamaha digital audio mixer board. Finally, the main projectors a custom, motorized projection screen were installed in the balcony area to provide the stage-facing display without disrupting existing worshipers. Phase Two will commence with the installation of updated loud speakers, amplification and digital signal processing.

Solution:

Avashare installed Aviom digital signal distribution for the benefit of stage performers and provided a one-for-one duplication of audio to broadcast production as well as complete control via a new Yamaha M7CL Mixing Console. Additionally, Avashare added the new choir microphone system and replaced the stage monitors, by relocating the main projectors and providing the stage-facing projection system, Avashare returned the audio-visual system at First Baptist to the level of strategic asset in this growing ministry.
