Situation:

Paul Mitchell Schools of Wichita needed a complex array of flat panel TV's and accompanying speakers installed throughout their new facility as construction was being completed. Their previous AV provider had recommended an outdated analog standard-definition solution for sending the video signal to all of the different TV's and called for the use of consumer-grade speakers all at a price of over $100,000.

Strategy:

Avashare recommended Digital Foundation, an all-digital, high-definition video solution that guarantees an unmatched signal quality at every display point without distortion or artifacts. This provides the benefit of dramatically increased clarity and color for all of their video displays. In combination with this, Avashare recommended the use of an HDMI matrix switcher that would allow the facility operators to call up any of their video sources on any of the displays throughout the complex, all of this exceeding their former provider's performance but at a price of over $40,000 less!

Solution:

Paul Mitchell Schools of Wichita selected Digital Foundation's fully digital signal path utilizing the latest HDMI technology. This complete and integrated system featured Turbosound's professional-grade speaker solutions which have been designed to provide a dramatically superior sound when compared with systems like those provided by consumer-grade systems. PMW also selected Large-format projection display for classroom presentations and instruction and sack-design flat panel displays for media-rich effects and presentations in their entry way.

The final solution allows for the user to select any video or any audio source and then deliver that media to the room of his or her choosing. And the delivery of that media is at a quality that is higher than any analog solution and at a price that is either the same or less than the analog solutions currently on the market.
